Two unlikely friends decide to embark on an usual journey to Samarkand in Uzbekistan. 73-year-old Cocco will ride his 1939 Harley-Davidson, while 22-year-old Stefano will follow him in a van with a crew to film their journey. Cocco is a man with a troubled past – he has been in jail for murder but does not want to talk about it. So Stefano asks himself how to approach this delicate matter. Would it be fine not to include it in the film or is it necessary to look deeper into it even though Cocco doesn’t want to?
